Barricades and ducks

Barricades and Ducks

Piece description from the artist

There is a small retention pond near where I live which often attracts ducks to the area. One day I walked down to the end of my street and saw these two barricades blocking some large deep holes so nobody would fall in. Then I spotted the ducks and knew this would be the subject of my next painting. This painting is unframed stretched canvas with the image painted all the way around the edges.
Barricades and Ducks was awarded First Place in Acrylic Painting by the Bay Area Art Exhibit 2023.
