Piece description from the artist
At magic hour during sunset, Badlands National Park in South Dakota, takes on a whole new beauty. After sunset, the blue hour lights cools down the cream tones of the rock formations. I captured this from Pinnacles Overlook in Wall, SD. I love the different colored layers of the rocks which was caused by different climates, floods, and volcanic activity. This is one of the highest and most popular viewpoints, It offers expansive, panoramic views of the Sage Creek Wilderness area and jagged rocky spires.
