Piece description from the artist
Glacier Park is my favorite place to get out and see the beauty nature can create. This vintage-inspired travel poster captures the majestic beauty of Avalanche Lake in Glacier National Park, Montana. Featuring textured deep teal mountains, cascading waterfalls, a serene turquoise lake, and silhouetted evergreens, the composition evokes a classic mid-century national park aesthetic. Framed by nostalgic typography reading "TAKE A HIKE to beautiful Avalanche Lake" and "Glacier National Park MONTANA," this piece celebrates the rugged grandeur of the Western wilderness.
Annie was born and raised in Montana, growing up on her family's ranch in the beautiful Smith River Valley. Growing up in Montana's wild and beautiful Landscape led to her deep love of nature and all things rural. Annie attended the Art Institute of Colorado and lived in Denver Colorado until the completion of her Interior Design degree in 2002. After working in that field for several years, Annie moved back to Montana and began her own business, focusing on her ever-growing love of photography. She began traveling the backroads and wilderness of Montana and the Rocky Mountain region and selling her photos professionally in galleries, shops, and online.
