Piece description from the artist
Old Lime Creek Road is a rough and tumble high alpine dirt road in the San Juan Mountains of southwestern Colorado. Every year the aspen laced ribbon of dirt through the high country turns gold and glowing. In the early afternoon, when the incidence of the sun plays backlight to the autumnal yellow leaves, the scene becomes ethereal and sublime. These moments are rare and what a gift to be able to photograph them for inspiration further on down the road! Classic, simple, peaceful scene.
