This piece was made during my biomorphic period, where I was doing paintings with curved shapes
The colors and shapes remind me of leaves
I do like the interconnectedness of the different shapes, and how they fit together like a jigsaw puzzle
Mike Lenkowski is a visual artist living and working in Chicago. He has worked in various media such as reverse acrylic on plexiglass, acrylic on canvas, Plastic Prismatic Boxes, and 3D Assemblages. Mike graduated in 2007 from Avondale College with a Degree in Fine Art. His work can be found in private collections in the US and abroad, as well as in Art*o*mat machines nationwide.
