Piece description from the artist
When I was creating this illustration, I thought about myself traveling on the 4 train while I was in college. There are some train stops that always have a lot of noise, especially Atlantic Ave. If you are a New Yorker, you know that Atlantic Ave is a lively entertainment spot. Sometimes, there are some great street singers.
From early childhood, Regina Humphrey always wanted to become an artist. She always participated in art clubs during her school years. When she was in the 8th grade, she had illustrated her middle school yearbook cover. That propelled her to become a Designer and Illustrator. Regina is from Brooklyn, NY. Seven years ago, she graduated from Saint Peter's University with a BA in Graphic Arts and a minor in Marketing Management. While in college and post-college life, she has interned for startups and non-profits such as Square Business Consulting Inc., Vocetic, SocietyRow, and Art House Productions. She has worked with a variety of clients such as Charmaine "CAKEDIVA" Jones, MVP Swimmers, University of California Press and University of Illinois Press. In her free time, she volunteers at Free arts NYC.
