Artists Point Monument Valley View

Piece description from the artist

A stunning view of Monument Valley in Arizona as I stand at the Navajo Code Talker Outpost watching a storm move in that a few short moments later brings a rare event of hail, sleet, and snow to the area. This is also known as Artists Point. The desert terrains bold orange warm tones contrasts with th blue and purple clouds above. A variety of buttes and mesa's can be seen including the famous East Mitten, Merrick Butte, Mitchell Mesa, and many more, A loose sandy area below features different textures and shapes. This is one of the Sand Spring areas.
