Piece description from the artist
It looks like this open road is about the run straight into a mountain. That is actually the rim of the Meteor Crater National Landmark, also known as Barringer Crater. Located in Winslow, Arizona, this impressive natural wonder gives you chills. It is the best preserved meteorite impact site on Earth. Beautiful clouds drift above the site. The road, Meteior Crator Road) leads your eyes straight to the ancient site. This is also a stop just a couple miles of of the historic Route 66 and East of Flagstaff. A beautiful American Southwest landscape.
