A vertical photograph of a a cool arched cedar tree that greets you along the Zion Canyon Overlook Trail in Zion National Park, Utah, United States. Growing near the edge of a red rock cliff, this tree resembles a natural bonsai tree sculpted by time and weather. Behind it, Zion’s iconic sandstone cliff mountains glow in the warm light of the evening sun, while a few soft clouds drift above, highlighting the lush green trees. You can see the narrow pathway taking you along and around the side of the mountain. This short but rewarding one-mile roundtrip hike offers breathtaking views and unforgettable desert scenery.
