Appalachian spring

Appalachian Spring

Piece description from the artist

Photo composite, Giclee print on canvas. Limited edition 4/100 signed front & back, 4 coats of UV varnish, archival up to 200 years.

Taken just down the road from my home on a spring evening, the sun was just about to set.
The Mustardseed plants were in full bloom and covering the land like gold!
I returned the next day at the same time w/ tripod & camera, the sun was perfect, but the sky was cloudless and blue, so I marked my tripod so I could return tomorrow (at the same 7:20pm) and catch a more dramatic sky!
It rained all day, but the following day, percisly at 7:20, the sky was fantastic! Click!
What was impossible to do in the darkroom
a few years ago, the perfect day is here! thank you Photoshop!
