David Pringle is a Yorkshire based artist specialising in artwork that combines the freedom and energy of abstract impressionist with organic details and cubist viewpoints. Born in Preston, United Kingdom, David’s journey as an artist began while study art and art history at Preston College where he was inspired by the raw energy and visual power of abstract expressionism, surrealism, and Dadaism, among other movements.
Working primarily in acrylics David often mixes media such as oils, pastels, and markers with brushes, squeegees, sponges, and airbrush, feeling his way through an art piece as it develops and grows. Inspired by life and nature David always aims to breathe life into each piece with free movements contrasted with intricate details.
