Jacob Beran is an all-encompassing and universal artist who expresses himself primarily through photography, in pursuit of capturing and portraying the wide range of human emotion and experience.
Born in St. Louis, MO, the Gateway to the West, his creative endeavors led him to Los Angeles where he spent 5 years absorbing the city and its inhabitants through his lens. He currently resides in New York City, which constantly invigorates his sense of creative purpose and pursuit of truth and beauty in art.
By gaining new and shared perspectives through his experience taking photographs, he hopes to invoke analysis, understanding, compassion, and most importantly, connection, through his work.
