American Eagle

Piece description from the artist

This portrait captures the quiet intensity and noble grace of the American Bald Eagle. Every detailed stroke of cross-hatching brings depth to the feathered layers, tracing the curve of its hooked beak and the steady focus in its eye. Through this piece, I aimed to balance precise detail with an uncluttered composition, celebrating the quiet strength and timeless majesty of one of North America's most iconic wild creatures. This American Eagle focuses on his prey, eyes laser focused on any little movement in the forest. The drawing was originally done in my sketchbook with pen and ink, then scanned and colored digitally for a crisp and colorful print.
