It's strange how objects are not as they appear. What started as a negative space tracing of a plant turned into an abstract depiction of the alienation of my mind. I don't see objects in their literal form, but in the form of their representation. What you see is what I saw, that which didn't appear to be there but was there all along: an alien waiting to be awakened from its slumber.
