This painting captures the ancient hilltop town of Albarracín, one of Spain’s most beautiful historic villages. Its terracotta rooftops glow with rich, warm tones, contrasting with the cool blues of the surrounding cliffs. The narrow streets, medieval towers and stone walls reflect the unique character of this fortified town in Aragón, known for its winding layout and centuries-old architecture. Oil on canvas. Signed. Painting has been my passion since childhood. Among many different techniques oil painting is my favorite.
Themes of my paintings are as variegated as our world: cities, people, life, animals, dramatic art, nature. I am greatly influenced by such famous artists like Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh, Isaac Levitan, Auguste Renoir. My work was strongly influenced by Picasso. The painting Girl on the Ball made a big impression on me in my childhood.
