A River Runs Through It

A River Runs Through It

Piece description from the artist

The view of the Grand Canyon. with the Colorado River continuing to carve it's way to the Gulf of California, from the Desert View point along Arizona State Route 64 is a breathtaking spectacle of nature at its very best. This viewpoint is the first point when entering the Grand Canyon National Park from the east entrance from the town of Cameron. Most visitors enter from the south entrance and follow the signs that point to the tourist center and miss this area because its marked "Desert View Route 64 to Cameron" and mistake it for an exit from the park. The best time to view the Grand Canyon from this point is late afternoon or daybreak.
