A Piece of the Broad Museum, Los Angeles

Piece description from the artist

The Broad Museum in Los Angeles is a work of architectural art in itself. It was designed by the renowned firm Diller Scofidio + Renfro, and it is known for its innovative use of concrete, steel, and glass. The museum's exterior is characterized by its honeycomb-like facade, which is made up of 2,500 fiber-reinforced concrete panels. The panels are arranged in a regular pattern, but they are also perforated with hundreds of small holes, which allow natural light to filter into the galleries.
