A Late Summer Evening in the Boston Public Library Courtyard

Piece description from the artist

This was sketched onsite at the courtyard of the McKim Building, in the Boston Public Library. I had a friend post for the figure, and then inked the whole thing in my studio. This piece shows the height of the columns and the space, while the viewer is meant to associate with the figure at bottom, by the garden. Solitude in the middle of the city.
