A Friendly Fellow

Piece description from the artist

Just exploring down a country road, I found a group of horses. I didn't expect the welcome that I received when I got out of my car and walked up to the fence! I had about ten horses charging toward me! They all were very friendly and gentle, and seemed so happy to see me! I chose black and white for this capture because it helps to focus in on the horse and his beautiful gentle expression. This horse really got into my heart!

About Barbara Schultheis

Littleton, CO

Barbara has been exposed to art and creativity, her entire life! Her mother was an oil painter and her grandfather, not only an MD, but a talented artist as well. At the age of 16, Barbara found her creative passion looking through the lens of a Canon camera. She has been a photographer from that point on, finding subject matter from the gritty streets of Manhattan, to the alpine environment of the Colorado Rocky Mountains. She feels most at home now, among big horned sheep, moose and mountains of Colorado!
