Full-Stack Software Engineer

The Role

We are looking for a full stack software engineer to lead the development of our internal and client-facing tools. This is a new full-time role created to support the growth of our client base and the expansion of our catalog.

You'll be in charge of setting the technical direction for all of our web-based products, help define and design them in collaboration with our product manager, and write, deploy and maintain both back-end and front-end code. Among other things, the applications you'll work on help our Art Advisory team search, manage and curate our growing catalog of 40,000+ artworks, make it possible for our Operations team to coordinate and manage installations all across the country, and allow our 1,500+ artists to upload their artwork, check their stats, and get paid.

Our current stack uses Ruby on Rails, Ember.js, and React.js, so you'll be expected to have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience writing clean, well-tested code for data-driven web applications using a server-side scripting language like Ruby or Python and knowledge of a client-side Javascript framework. If you've been contributing to web apps for a while and feel ready to run the show and make a huge difference on a small, tight-knit team, we could be a great fit!

Full-time • Salary and benefits

We have a flexible remote work policy, but are big believers in the value of in-person collaboration, therefore this position will require 3 days in our Boston office each week.
