Originally from Nebraska, Elizabeth Noble is a painter and illustrator living in Boston Massachusetts. Her work investigates subtle details and the impact of simple things and experiences. Ranging from magnified insects to portraits, her pieces employ heavy mark making, collage, and the occasional found object.
Elizabeth received a BA in Biology and Studio Art from St. Olaf College in Northfield Minnesota then worked in research at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln and Boston Children’s Hospital. She has studied insects, vector borne illness, and immunology and worked as a medical illustrator. She now manages operations for a biotech startup in downtown Boston.
