Unfettered Desires III
Piece description from the artist
One of a series, Unfettered Desires is inspired by a visit to the Morris Arboretum where I became fascinated with tall blooming fronds in the sunken garden at the end of the season. The following winter I painted from memories of how I felt standing beside swaying blooms overhead. Undulating strokes of paint helped me see myself blooming late in life with a glow of happiness.
