The poetry of reeds

The Poetry of Reeds

Piece description from the artist

I live in Battery Park City, a park on the Hudson River in Downtown New York City. During Covid, I tried to get outside to experience the small slice of nature behind my building or make an excursion out of town. I find solace in looking closely at leaves, flowers, and river. In my attention, I am expressing my love for nature and sharing it with the viewer.

I was having dinner by the Hudson River during a beautiful summer sunset when my eye caught this dramatically blowing set of reeds. I took a few photos and put this piece together to express their dramatic and poetic motion.
