Piece description from the artist
ML Quezon Street is one of the main road that runs through my family's neighborhood in Teresa, Rizal (Philippines). Although it's a town on the mountainside, this main street is buzzing day and night with bicycles, tricycles, and jeepneys. It's chaotic, but it's home.
Blaise Roy Ormond is a multi-disciplinary artist born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. Blaise began shooting film photography as a hobby in 2017 after completing his Master’s degree in Media Ventures from Boston University. Over the years, as the world of photography continued to trend more digital, he became passionate about revitalizing tangible art with analog technology. This passion has inspired Blaise to shoot photography exclusively with 110 film and capture that nostalgic essence on vintage cameras. His first self produced exhibit, THAT HOUSE – Home Sweet Home, will be a fully immersive art experience set in the 1970s to be held at the start of 2023.
