The second painting in the Solitude series. I remember dragging all kinds of stuff into the woods to see what I could find, build or discover when I was younger. It helped instill a sense of beauty and appreciation for everything the outdoors has to offer deep within me and I cherish that time to this day and still walk into the woods from time to time.
Brian DeYoung grew up outside Chicago, Illinois area and relocated to Savannah, Georgia in 2008. He graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design with a B.F.A. in illustration.
Illustration has been his passion for a very long time, particularly using traditional media to create his work, along with using his images to create a story. Brian's work is poignant, animated, technically impressive, and often humorous.
