Hana Shoup collects found and generated materials from her own studio. Paper fragments, paint splatters, old drawings, and studio trash work their way into her art. She whimsically collages these incidental and the accidental moments together and presents their story while combining the vernacular of painting with formal abstraction. Physical and psychological painting combine together in this "Convergence".
