Saint Germain is a classic Parisian arrondissement that is exactly what you would imagine when you think of Paris. Wandering around any neighborhood in Paris you will find cafes on almost every corner. Each will draw in the eye with it's unique tables, chairs, flowers – even the shutters on the windows. Sitting at a table while enjoying a cup of coffee or glass of wine, you can watch the hustle and bustle of everyday life in Paris.
Rebecca Derbak is a St. Louis based photographer who specializes in local and travel inspired photography, while also learning all about food photography. She took her first film photography class in high school and has been exploring the medium ever since. She has dabbled in various photography styles over the years before discovering her true passion for travel photography.
When traveling to a new place, rather than focusing on the famous monuments and buildings, she loves to seek out the quiet details that highlight the uniqueness. "I want my photos to tell a story. I want people to view my work and be transported and feel as if they know the energy of the location."
