Piece description from the artist
It can be difficult to recognize the little slivers of hope and joy and beauty in the world during moments of darkness. I feel calm and joyous when I look at this painting even though I made it during a period of fear, isolation, and anxiety.
While making this, I remember thinking how weirdly comforting it is to realize that nature prevails and we are so small in the grand scheme of things; To understand that the possibilities are endless, and if you make even the biggest of mistakes (to a point)… well, the world won't remember anyway. So just be.
