Climbing up the back side of Parc Guell in Barcelona led me to create this piece. I never thought I would be able to breathe again. I knew I was in trouble when I saw escalators embedded into the side of the " mountain ". Not for the faint of heart!
Lauri creates abstract fine art cut paper collage that evoke the look and feel of painting. Upon closer observance, the minute details are always a surprise and delight, like finding the toy in the cracker jack box. I have always loved making art! I remember getting excited when I got my first big box of crayola crayons and it just blossomed from there.
