Nancy E. F. Halbert was a choreographer and modern dancer before she became a visual artist. She has a Master’s Degree in teaching art from the University of the Arts, Philadelphia, PA. She has been chosen to be a featured artist in Studio Visit Magazine, a national juried publication, it’s January, 2013 edition.
In her art-making process, Nancy focuses on the balance between energy and stillness. She draws and paints in a gestural, painterly, style while combining a variety of media.
