Jenny Brown is based in Providence, Rhode Island. Through her primary mediums of drawing and collage, Jenny explores the idea of different aspects of nature coming together to form a new single entity. Flowers and sea creatures meld together to create one being, living in harmony in both the light and dark environments of the natural world. Jenny also has a special interest in using found materials, so her work contains pieces of found collage, such as clippings from antique papers and greeting cards.

Jenny received her B.A. from Bennington College and her M.F.A. from the New York’s School of Visual Arts. Over the past decade, Jenny has exhibited in both solo and group shows at galleries in Brooklyn, Philadelphia, Boston, Providence and Berlin. She has also been featured on several art and culture blogs and online magazines such as Trendland, Booooooom, and The Artful Desperado.
