El Greco Krishna

This painting is apart of my “Iconoclash” series that compares and contrasts the world’s major religions. This painting is a study of El Greco’s painting called “The Holy Trinity.” However, I have placed Krishna as the crucified son rather than Jesus to highlight their similarities in their religions. Krishna was the savior in Hinduism like Jesus is in Christianity. The both are divine sons, lived among humans, spread the word of their religions and much much more.
