I absolutely loved this scene I stumbled upon near the train tracks in Old Sacramento, California. Between the sunshine, the California sign, the tracks, the beach cruiser, and the ropes that reminded me of the San Francisco Bay Bridge; it wreaked of California landscape and culture. I knew I had to capture this just right, so I could share it with you. I deeply love my home state!
Danny Anderson has no formal training in photography, but he makes up for what he lacks in training with a unique perception of the world around him.
From the beginning, Danny's approach was simple; when he photographs a location, Danny attempts to capture not just what it looks like, but what it feels like to be there. In doing so, contrasts, composition, dynamics and drama have become an integral part of his process and consideration while making artwork. Danny is always searching for everyday beauty so he can allow the day-to-day imagery to distract and inspire him. Danny refers to this process as "natural distraction."
